Daylight Savings Time Ends

Daylight Savings Time ends the first weekend in November. Remember to set your clocks back one hour on Saturday night, November 1st.

Visitor's Reception

  • When: Nov. 2, 2014, noon    Where: Fellowship Hall

All visitors are invited to attend a short reception in the fellowship hall immediately following the second morning worship service. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Saint Andrew's, meet other visitors, our pastors, and some of our elders, deacons, ministry directors, and staff. Light refreshments will be available.

Ladies' Prayer

  • When: Nov. 4, 2014, 9:30 a.m.    Where: Fellowship Hall

All are invited to our monthly Women of the Word and Prayer on the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in Room 6.

Wednesday Night Fellowship Dinner

  • When: Nov. 5, 2014, 5:30 p.m.    Where: Fellowship Hall

Dinner will be served in the fellowship hall for a cost of $5 per person (free for children 2 and under), which may be paid at the door. At 6:15, Dr. R.C. Sproul will give a lecture on Ephesians in the sanctuary.

Men's Breakfast

A full breakfast will be served at 8:00 am.

Baby Shower

  • When: Nov. 8, 2014, 2 p.m.    Where: Fellowship Hall

Come for fellowship or to get acquainted as we celebrate with Tara McPherson the upcoming arrival of a new covenant child. Tara is registered at Target and is expecting a girl.

Saints Supporting the Troops

  • When: Nov. 9, 2014, 12:30 p.m.    Where: Fellowship Hall

Saints Supporting the Troops meets on the second Sunday of each month to prepare care packages for troops serving overseas. A complete list of needed items and a donation bin can be found under the covered pavilion on Sunday mornings. Frequently requested items include moist towelettes, candy, packaged nuts, Slim-Jims, chapstick, white tube socks, foot powder, individual packets of drink mixes, and granola bars.

Ligonier Audience Opportunity

  • When: Nov. 10, 2014, 10 a.m.    Where: Ligonier Academy campus

Ligonier  Ministries needs audience members for a new teaching series being taught by Dr. Ian Hamilton on November 10th-11th. Session times will be 10:00 am-noon and 2:00-4:00 pm on both days. You need not be present for all sessions, but will need to stay for the duration of each session that you agree to attend. Lunch will be provided. Space is limited, so please call and leave your name and contact information with the Ligonier receptionist at 407-333-4244.

Disaster Response Ministry Workshop

  • When: Nov. 17, 2014, 7 p.m.    Where: Room 8

The disaster response team will hold an introduction to amateur radio class on Monday, November 17th. The class will cover the basics of amateur radio communication including how to communicate in the event of an emergency or total loss of power. The class is open to all (ages 10 and up recommended).

Blood Drive

  • When: Dec. 3, 2014, 11 a.m.    Where: Saint Andrew's Chapel

OneBlood's bus will park near the sanctuary to accept donations from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Walk-ins are welcome, but you may make an appointment by following the link below. For general information about blood donation, please visit www.oneblooddonor.org.

Children's Christmas Pageant

  • When: Dec. 8, 2014, 3:30 p.m.    Where: Fellowship Hall

The rehearsal for the Children's Christmas Pageant will take place on Saturday, December 6th, from 9:30 - 11:30 am.  The pageant will be held on Sunday, December 8th at 3:30 pm. All children ages 3 through 11 are welcome to participate. Please register by November 30th.
