Teaching Elders

  • R.C. Sproul

    R.C. Sproul

    Dr. Sproul serves as the senior minister of Saint Andrew’s. He is recognized throughout the church for his articulate defense of the holiness of God, divine sovereignty, and other essential doctrines of the Christian faith. Dr. Sproul holds degrees from Westminster College, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and the Free University of Amsterdam, and his teaching can be heard on the program Renewing Your Mind, which is available on hundreds of radio outlets in the United States and worldwide. Dr. Sproul also serves as the founder and president of Ligonier Ministries, president of Ligonier Academy of Biblical and Theological Studies, and he has written over seventy books, including Defending Your Faith, Abortion: A Rational Look at an Emotional Issue, The Truth of the Cross, Truths We Confess, and commentaries on John, Romans, Acts, and 1-2 Peter in the Saint Andrew’s Expositional Commentary series.

  • Burk Parsons

    Burk Parsons

    Burk Parsons serves as associate pastor at Saint Andrew’s, and he is editor of Tabletalk magazine. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical studies from Trinity College and the Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary, where he is also completing his Doctor of Ministry degree. He speaks regularly at various conferences and schools in the United States and abroad and has contributed to various books and journals. He is author of the forthcoming booklet Why Do We Have Creeds? (P&R, 2011). He is editor of the books Assured by God: Living in the Fullness of God’s Grace (P&R, 2006) and John Calvin: A Heart for Devotion, Doctrine, and Doxology (Reformation Trust, 2008). He and his wife, Amber, live in central Florida with their children.

  • Kevin Struyk

    Kevin Struyk

    Kevin Struyk serves as an associate pastor at Saint Andrew’s. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Covenant College in 2003 and the Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2010. He and his wife, Jenny, have one daughter and live in central Florida.

  • Thomas Brewer

    Thomas Brewer

    Thomas serves as the Ministerial Administrative Assistant at Saint Andrew's. Thomas graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2010 and is presently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Reformed Theological Seminary. Thomas helps the associate pastors with planning, scheduling, and researching.

  • Angel Gomez

    Angel Gomez

    Angel has served as Sexton at Saint Andrew's since 2009 by overseeing facilities maintenance and also by aiding in various ministries that take place at Saint Andrew's. Angel's background is in property management, and he is currently pursuing his History degree at the University of Central Florida. Angel and his wife, Brittany, have one child.

  • Amy Johnson

    Amy Johnson

    Amy has served on staff at Saint Andrew's since 2009. As Receptionist, Amy receives calls at the church, helps administer the office, and also aids in the bookstore. Amy received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas. She and her husband, Kyle, have three children.

  • Lillian Johnson

    Lillian Johnson

    Lillian serves as the Music Department and Conservatory Administrative Assistant. Lillian has studied both organ and piano for many years. She has been on staff at Saint Andrew's since 2009 and helps with scheduling, lessons, events, and the church bulletin. She is married to her husband, Sam.

  • Patrick Lennox

    Patrick Lennox

    Patrick has worked with youth since 1994 and has served on the staff at Saint Andrew's since 2005. As Director of Education and Youth Ministries, Patrick seeks to ensure that the youth and families of Saint Andrew's have the necessary resources to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ through teaching, ministry, and fellowship. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity degree at Reformed Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Regina, have three children.

  • Stassia Petersen

    Stassia Petersen

    Stassia has served at Saint Andrew's since October 2002 as Office Manager and Accountant. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida. Stassia helps with accounting, office procedures, and human resources. She is also the wedding coordinator. She and her husband, John, have two children.

  • Randall Van Meggelen

    Randall Van Meggelen

    Randall received his Master of Church Music from Concordia University and started working at Saint Andrew's in 2003. As Chief Musician, Randall oversees all of the music ministry activities at Saint Andrew's. He and his wife, Tina, have five girls.

  • Terry Yount

    Terry Yount

    Terry received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama and both his Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts from Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester. Terry has served at Saint Andrew's since 2008 and presently serves as Organist and Dean of Saint Andrew's Conservatory. Terry and his wife, Laura, have three children.
